"Practice Makes Perfect?"

In theory, it sounds like this would be correct – if you need to learn a piece of music, practice it over and over and you will eventually get it perfected. But be careful! If you practice music incorrectly, you will only be reinforcing the errors and getting farther away from “perfect”. You should practice slowly enough that everything is correct. If you do this, then practice might just make perfect. (See the previous note about “make haste slowly”).
We should probably change this quote to “Perfect practice makes perfect”.
